JOB OVERVIEW

The Marketing Manager is responsible for working with store leadership to create and implement all store promotional and marketing programs. They will act as the liaison with all department managers, and manages public relations, events, cooking school and creative graphics team. Reports to the Store General Manager and functionally to the Director of Marketing, PR and Communication. 

  • Manages the PR and Creative graphics teams to ensure marketing activities and promotions are properly communicated both internally and externally
  • Manages the Education and Events team to create, develop, and execute in-store, public, and private events
  • Handles relationships with third parties (i.e. celebrity chefs, business partners, producers, local organizations, public entities)
  • Responsible for defining key performance indicators and keep track of marketing programs’ performance
  • Develops and manages the monthly marketing calendar comprehensive of all in-store and out of store marketing activities
  • Closely collaborates with the corporate marketing team to define national marketing programs and related local marketing activities
  • Closely collaborates with store department managers to develop activities and promotions designed to drive awareness, traffic and sales
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing preferred
  • 4+ years of progressive marketing management experience
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and grassroots community relations

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must know how to manage a budget and report status updates
  • Knowledge of the food industry and/or retail environment is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other department heads
  • Ability to effectively communicate with upper management
  • Ability to travel as needed. May be standing for extended periods of time
  • May need to lift materials and displays weighing up to 50 lbs.
