JOB OVERVIEW

The Facilities Manager ensures health, sanitation and safety conditions at Eataly are always met. Reports to the Store Director and supervises the team of Dishwashers and Housekeepers.

• Maintains accurate records of the conditions of all facilities in the building and creates a schedule of regular housekeeping and cleanliness for the store
• Handles weekly administrative duties, including but not limited to: scheduling, payroll, inventory and vendor management
• Ensures efficiency and good working conditions of multiple 24-hour facilities, including but not limited to: walk-ins, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning services and off-site storage
• Oversees the Dishwashing and Housekeeping teams: trains, manages, coaches, develops and disciplines as necessary
• Guarantees exceptionally clean and sanitary conditions in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• 2+ years of experience as a Housekeeping, Facilities or Custodial Supervisor or Manager
• Experience successfully managing a large team
• Excellent time management, communication and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule sometimes including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for 8 hours in length, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
• Ability to withstand extreme temperatures for extended periods of time
• OSHA Certification
