Vice President, Business Strategy and Marketing

The VP, Business Strategy and Marketing defines and oversees a comprehensive regionalized brand marketing strategy – including public relations, media and advertising, storytelling and graphic design – to meaningfully drive sales at Eataly North America.  Reports to the Executive Vice President. Directly manages the senior Corporate Marketing team. The position is based out of Eataly's Corporate office in New York City. 

  • Develops the Annual Brand, Marketing and Business Strategy for Eataly North America
  • Builds the Calendar of Activities, Events, Offers and Promotions for all stores
  • Manages the design, creation and execution of marketing and graphic design deliverables with the goal of acquiring more advanced recognition in the market, promoting products and establishing leadership throughout the food industry
  • Creates strong and cohesive media plans with solid knowledge of digital tools, earned and paid communicational channels
  • Works closely with the Product team to develop co-marketing activities to promote and elevate Eataly’s partners and producers
  • Collaborates with senior leadership across all departments to ensure best execution of campaigns 
  • Defines and adheres to the financial budget
  • Manages the senior Corporate Marketing team and ensures excellent execution of marketing strategies by the in-store marketing teams
  • Partners with the global Eataly Marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and strength worldwide
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned


  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing for experiential brands
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Knowledge of the food industry and current marketing and advertising trends
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of industry leaders and peers
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task
  • Solid communication, leadership, motivational and team-building skills  
  • Demonstrated analytical and business management skills
  • Knowledge and passion for Italian food
  • Proficiency in Italian language preferred


  • Availability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time
