The bread baker is responsible for the production of bread in the 24-hour baking facility.  Reports to the Bakery Manager.   

  • Prepare breads, rolls, focaccia and other bread items to be sold in the bakery and served in all restaurants
  • Maintain a sanitary bakeshop
  • Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program is desirable
  • 1 year in a baker preparation position
  • Basic math and measuring skills required


  • Flexible availability, including weekends, required
  • Wood burning oven, commercial stand mixer, other baking equipment
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
